“It's been the heart of Longbridge for a 100 years. There are not many places that you can say everyone knows each other and everyone will help each other.
The street parties we had every year, I absolutely loved them, literally the whole year you would be waiting for the next one. When they were stopped, because of the cost to put them on, I must of been about 10 or 11 and I was so gutted that they stopped doing them that I actually organised a petition. I went round the whole village to get everyone to sign it.”
Megan lived in the village for 21 years from the age of four. Her parents Carolyn & Mark still live in the village. Megan played a big part in organising the village’s Centenary celebrations in May 2017. Megan is a practising artist and has produced a number of illustrations of the village.
